CAKE DECORATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods
  
• Create fondant, chocolate and royal icing decorations
  
• Royal icing decorating
  
• Prepare custom order (which includes filling cakes and carving cakes into shapes)
  
• Maintain inventory and production area cleaniness
  
• Clean equipment and utensils

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience decorating cakes
• Must have knowledge of buttercream, whip cream, ganache and fondant (covering of cakes is a plus)
  
• Icing cakes and cupcakes
  
• Borders piping, writing and flower decorating
  
• Knowledge of royal icing & piping skills a plus
  
• Knowledge of stacking and customizing cakes (carving cakes into shapes a plus)
  
• Working knowledge of basic equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, blenders, food processors and smallwares equipment
  
• Working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures
